[HI. I'm Kim.]

I'm an editorial style photographer based in Norwalk IA, serving Des Moines Metro and surrounding areas. I'm also available for (and love to) travel to other places.

Although my job is usually a blast and rarely feels like work (at least when I'm shooting), I love knowing that I'm doing something important. I'm responsible for documenting and preserving your memories. I take that job very seriously; it's an honor. And I mean that.

Together, we'll relax, laugh, and make awesome pictures. They're all about you, so don't worry about how it's "supposed" to go. Be yourself. You can't go wrong.

I believe that my job as a photographer is to capture the beauty that is your story and to tell it. I'm better at telling stories when I know who the characters are, so don't be freaked out when I try to get to know you.

I love to sing in the car. Country songs are my specialty. Yes, I know I'm a terrible singer; that's part of the fun. I am an equally skilled dancer. :)

For me, the beauty in photography is capturing the beauty of reality, rather than creating it.  There is beauty to be found everywhere.  And I just love finding it. One of my favorite parts about the intimacy of this job is getting to know my clients and figuring out what makes them unique and awesome.
